Hello, I'm Kendra

I am a New York–based professional photographer with a passion for visual storytelling rooted in both creativity and human connection. My love for photography began in high school and deepened throughout my psychology studies in college, where I found joy in capturing a person’s unique beauty through intentional storytelling and vibrant color — often inspired by my Caribbean heritage.

Before photography became my profession, I was always the designated photo-taker among friends, making sure the lighting was right, the angles were flattering, and each image reflected how they wanted to be seen. That attention to detail naturally evolved into a deeper appreciation for landscapes, nature, and the environments that frame each story. As a Brooklyn native, I’ve developed a strong eye for discovering creative locations throughout New York City, understanding that the setting plays a vital role in creating aesthetically powerful imagery. While NYC will always be home, traveling and photographing different parts of the world has expanded my perspective and sharpened my craft.

Choosing entrepreneurship and building my own photography business was an unconventional path in my family, but one that opened the door to meaningful opportunities. It connected me with visionaries, creators, and achievers — individuals ready to bring their dreams to life. Being a part of their journey is what drives my work.

With a keen eye for detail and a genuine love for storytelling, I serve as both the creator and editor of my work, dedicated to delivering timeless, captivating images that not only meet but exceed expectations. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling, my long-term goal is to continue creating impactful visual content while also supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.
